The almost supernatural characteristics of dinosaurs have always captured the imaginations of the very young and not-so-young alike. On this very popular, interactive family program, discover some of North America’s intriguing prehistoric residents.

In the company our paleontologist, search for fossilized bones on hikes through the desert country and dig for dinosaur remains in Mygatt-Moore quarry, where Apatosaurus and Allosaurus have been found. Kids and adults alike can make a rubbing of actual dinosaur tracks and create their own special dinosaur bone cast to take home. Enjoy the breathtaking views during a visit to the high plateau of the Colorado National Monument. Spend a morning horseback riding, an evening at a lively local rodeo, and a relaxing day floating the Colorado River. Join dinosaur expert Jonathan Cooley as he takes your family on a fun-filled trip through pre-history, including the interactive Dinosaur Journey Museum.
